Tender strips of beef and crisp broccoli florets in a savory brown sauce. This quick stir-fry beats takeout every time and comes together in just 20 minutes.
Prep Time: 20 Minutes
Cook Time: 12 Minutes
Serves: 4
Marinate Beef
Toss sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp cornstarch. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Blanch Broccoli
Boil broccoli for 2 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.
Make Sauce
Whisk together remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and beef broth.
Cook Beef
Heat 2 tbsp oil in wok or large skillet over high heat. Add beef in single layer and sear 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
Cook Aromatics
Add remaining oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combine and Serve
Return beef and broccoli to wok. Pour in sauce and toss until thickened, about 1 minute. Drizzle with sesame oil and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve over rice.
